Bumps mod-version to 0.4.0 and refreshes the release doc examples so a v0.4.0-rc.1 pre-release tag matches.

Local validation at ed171b1:

  • ./scripts/ci-preflight.sh
  • ./gradlew --no-daemon --max-workers=1 '-Dorg.gradle.jvmargs=-Xms128m -Xmx1g -XX:MaxMetaspaceSize=512m -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8' lint build
  • ./scripts/check-release-jar.sh

The Forgejo CI run URL will be recorded here after the build completes.
