    mcbot v0.1.0-rc.4

Meteor Client addon for Minecraft Java 26.3.

    Install

    1. Install Fabric Loader 0.20.1+ for Minecraft 26.3.
    2. Put mcbot-0.1.0.jar in the client's mods directory.
    3. Install Meteor Client 26.3-SNAPSHOT and the Meteor Baritone API Fabric 26.3-SNAPSHOT jar alongside it.
    4. Do not install upstream Baritone or the standalone Baritone jar. The addon does not bundle Meteor or Baritone.

    Status

This is an early prototype. The deployment target is a real factions server
where Meteor, Baritone, and automated clients are permitted; the offline Podman
harness is only a validation layer, not a supported play environment. Verify the
server's rules and review the safety defaults before using a real account.

Pre-release: This build uses Meteor and Baritone snapshot artifacts. It
is a compatibility build, not a stable distribution.

    Changes

    • ci: gate integration only for stable releases (fa6697a)
    • fix: keep the camera free while mcbot aims actions (291f0bd)

where Meteor, Baritone, and automated clients are permitted; the offline Podman
harness is only a validation layer, not a supported play environment. Verify the
server's rules and review the safety defaults before using a real account.

Pre-release: This build uses Meteor and Baritone snapshot artifacts. It
is a compatibility build, not a stable distribution.

    Changes

This release focuses on fixed-layout nether-wart farming, safer construction, and
    in-game farm planning.

    Farm planning previews

    • Add .bot preview-farm [radius] [crop], .bot preview-farm chunks, and
.bot preview-farm clear as local planning commands. They do not survey
terrain, save profiles, activate mcbot, or change jobs, blocks, inventory, or
      settings.
    • Report potential bounds and cell counts, modeled pass and growth times,
inventory loads, one-account capacity, and initial hoe advice. Wart previews
use the fixed 900-cell layout on the shared chunk corner.
    • Draw a temporary 60-second color-coded outline for the estimated plot, with
the outer 32×32 chunk region shown for chunk previews. The outline clears on
expiry, explicit clear, world exit, or dimension change.

    Fixed 2×2-chunk nether-wart farms

    • Add .bot farm save-chunks <name> and .bot build-chunks <name> for a fixed
four-chunk region anchored on a shared corner (block X and Z divisible by 16),
      with a 30×30 inset of exactly 900 soul-sand cells.
    • Build the full 32×32×5 volume from one double supply chest within 16 blocks of
the region edge, with bounded material withdrawals, full materials and
durability checks, and a single handoff to normal farming after verification.
    • Preserve existing solid ring blocks and support, and reject unloaded or invalid
volume positions instead of editing outside the region.

    Safer wart construction

    • Replace bulk excavation with atomic column work: clear a column's headroom,
break at most its soil cell, refill it, and verify it before selecting another
      column.
    • Keep the excavation lock across movement and tool/supply trips; never mine the
player's support, revisit damaged completed columns, or use path scaffolding.
    • Prefer a raised plot when the surface already has four blocks of headroom,
preserving bedrock and other solid surfaces and repairing partly prepared
      layers in place.
    • Validate crouched placement rays, actual floor contact, anchor overlap, and
reach before local actions; keep Baritone travel non-destructive and abort
owned mining on Stop, deactivation, preemption, or world exit.

    Farming fixes

    • Yield active native harvests to addon collection, drain scoped drops before
returning to harvest, and restock exhausted seeds before reporting failure.
    • Use a spare hoe automatically and restock up to two hoes from the configured
farm chest; return for a replacement pickaxe during tilling or terraform work
instead of waiting for a timeout.
    • Preserve irrigation foundations, retain scoped plot bounds and legacy
work-area tolerance, and use addon pickup goals for scoped drops.
