    mcbot v0.1.0-rc.12

Meteor Client addon for Minecraft Java 26.3.

    Install

    1. Install Fabric Loader 0.20.1+ for Minecraft 26.3.
    2. Put mcbot-0.1.0.jar in the client's mods directory.
    3. Install Meteor Client 26.3-SNAPSHOT and the Meteor Baritone API Fabric 26.3-SNAPSHOT jar alongside it.
    4. Do not install upstream Baritone or the standalone Baritone jar. The addon does not bundle Meteor or Baritone.

    Status

This is an early prototype. The deployment target is a real factions server
where Meteor, Baritone, and automated clients are permitted; the offline Podman
harness is only a validation layer, not a supported play environment. Verify the
server's rules and review the safety defaults before using a real account.

Pre-release: This build uses Meteor and Baritone snapshot artifacts. It
is a compatibility build, not a stable distribution.

    Changes

This pre-release covers the gameplay, command, building, social, and tooling
work since v0.1.0-rc.10, including the user-facing command consistency
changes. CI and test-fixture changes are intentionally omitted.

    Commands

    • Crop defaults are now consistent: an omitted crop defaults to wheat for
      build-farm, build-chunks, farm save, farm save-chunks, and
preview-farm/preview-farm chunks. cave-wart still builds wart.
    • build-chunks is an alias of build-farm, and farm save-chunks is an
alias of the chunk form of farm save.
    • farm save <name> <crop> saves a 2×2-chunk profile without a radius;
farm save <name> <radius> [crop] still saves a square.
    • Command help now lists the full farm, build, and preview surface; save,
remove, and stop messages name the farm, crop, or geometry consistently.

    Chunk-based farming

    • Farming now uses fixed 2×2-chunk (32×32) layouts by default. The survey inset
is 30×30 (900 cells); hydrated crops use 884 farmland cells and 16
carpet-covered water sources, while nether wart uses 900 soul-sand cells.
    • The chunk layout is now the default for build-farm, cave-wart,
build-chunks, farm, farm save, and preview-farm; chunk commands
accept crop selection. Existing square profiles still load and remain usable.
    • Added hydrated chunk profiles, geometry-only previews, and fixed-footprint
      builds for non-wart crops.
    • Hydrated builds place irrigation covers with an exact ray to the crop outline,
keep cover travel separate from the interaction deadline, and reject edits
outside the build volume or on preserved ring cells.
    • Chunk-build durability and item batching now use authoritative chest
      snapshots, detached from client-side prediction.

    Farming behavior

    • Farming passes finish planting every empty cell before harvesting mature
crops, so mixed plots return to full capacity before the harvest sweep.
    • Nether wart is stripped fully before replanting: ripe wart is broken with
replanting off, drops are collected and deposited, then the field is
      replanted.
    • Planting now walks to the nearest plot cell, arms at plot adjacency, requires
a plot soil cell underfoot, and re-arms after leaving and returning to the
      plot.
    • Restock visits withdraw enough planting items for every remaining empty cell
plus the reserve in one trip, with room computed from the seed stack size.
    • Stalled farm travel and pickup goals are re-issued a bounded number of times
      within the stage deadline.
    • Chest opens settle and re-send when an anticheat ignores them, and the
retained chest snapshot is a detached copy.
    • Farm pickup ignores drops resting in water; moisture is only read for
hydrated crops; salvage till and replant sends follow the server-observed
      rotation.

    Building

    • Atomic terraform approaches re-anchor when they stop without anchor contact
      instead of failing the task.

    Social and safety

    • While active, mcbot auto-accepts a Meteor friend's /tpa with /tpaccept.
Non-friends and /tpahere-style requests are ignored; the tpa-accept
      toggle disables the behavior.
    • Friend resolution and the observed request format were fixed.

    Tooling and diagnostics

    • Added .bot export [path] and .bot import <path> bundles for settings,
friends, saved farms, and mcbot config. Import backs up the current state
first and never includes Prism credentials.
    • Added rotated local log evidence at logs/mcbot/mcbot.log, with a session
banner and .bot status reporting the active file.
    • Farm jobs now name damaged plot cells, hydration drift, landings, and block
actions in the log; fixed the startup session banner version string.
